龙门石窟卢舍那大像龛营造缘由考——兼论唐高宗盛世明君形象的塑造

摘　　要：龙门卢舍那大像龛的修建是《华严经》佛王信仰与李唐皇室文殊信仰共同作用的产物,唐高宗以此来塑造自身的佛王形象。在大像龛及大奉先寺的修建过程中唐高宗表现出对孝道的特别重视,因为奉先思孝是有为之君的必要基础。乾封元年前后,唐高宗着手进行封禅泰山、奉俘昭陵、创制明堂等向天下万民表功的活动,以塑造盛世明君的形象,而龙门卢舍那大像龛的修建是其重要组成部分。The construction of the Longmen Locana Buddha niche was a product of the combined effect of the belief in the Buddha King of the Avatamsaka Sutra and the belief in Manjushri of the imperial family of the Tang Dynasty,by which the Emperor Gaozong portrayed himself as the Buddha King.During the construction of the Great Statue Niche and the Great Bonghsin Temple,Gaozong showed a special emphasis on filial piety,because the practice of filial piety was a necessary foundation for becoming a worthy ruler.Around the first year of Qianfeng(A.D.666),the Emperor Gaozong proceeded with a series of activities to show his merits to all the people of the world,such as the enthronement ceremony at Mount Tai and the creation of Mingtang(ceremonial hall in a palace),in order to create an image of himself as a brilliant ruler,among which,the construction of the Longmen Locana statue niche should be the important part.
