摘 要:《克拉普的最后一盘录音带》和《动物园的故事》都属于荒诞派剧作,但由于剧作家本身经历和政治社会语境的不同,两部作品对于荒诞的理解也迥然不同。《克拉普的最后一盘录音带》利用视觉形象、动作、灯光、音效等手段,诉诸于观众的感官体验,借助多维的舞台形象呈现了克拉普荒诞不经的一生,使观众感受到荒诞表象下的人生无望。而《动物园的故事》则通过再现逆行者杰瑞以死与荒诞不经的生存环境抗争,剧本在展示人类生存困境的同时旨在引导人们与之抗争,在荒诞的现实中看到希望。While Krapp's Last Tape and The Zoo Story both belong to Theatre of the Absurd,the theme of absurdity is approached from completely different perspectives,due to the different experiences of the playwrights and the different political and social settings in which the plays were created.Visual images,actions,lights,sounds,etc.are employed in Krapp's Last Tape to stimulate audience's sensory organs to see through Krapp's absurd lifetime and sense the hopelessness of life hidden under the cloak of absurdity.Nevertheless,through various techniques of absurdity,The Zoo Story takes Jerry's desperate fight with absurdity at the cost of life as a case to depict the predicament of mankind while at the same time appealing to people to fight and guiding them to see light at the end of the tunnel amid desperate absurdity.
