摘  要:以α-Si_(3)N_(4)为基体,TiC晶须(TiC whisker,简称TiC_(w))为增韧相,Al_(2)O_(3)、Y_(2)O_(3)和TiO_(2)为烧结助剂,采用热压烧结技术制备了Si_(3)N_(4)-TiC_(w)复相陶瓷材料,分析了TiC晶须含量对其显微组织及力学性能的影响。结果表明:Si_(3)N_(4)基体在烧结过程中α-Si_(3)N_(4)相部分转变为β-Si_(3)N_(4)相。TiC_(w)含量小于30 vol%时均匀分布在Si_(3)N_(4)基体中,与Si_(3)N_(4)具有良好的化学相容性。加入适量的TiC_(w)降低了Si_(3)N_(4)颗粒之间的表面扩散,抑制了Si_(3)N_(4)晶粒的异常长大,提高了复相陶瓷材料的致密度。当TiC_(w)含量为30 vol%时,Si_(3)N_(4)-TiC_(w)复相陶瓷材料的性能最佳,致密度达到97.71%,抗弯强度达到720.463 MPa,断裂韧性达到7.6 MPa·m^(1/2),维氏硬度达到18.412 GPa。Si_(3)N_(4)-TiC_(w) composite ceramic materials were prepared by hot press sintering technology using α-Si_(3)N_(4) as matrix,TiC whisker(TiC_(w) for short)as toughened phase,Al_(2)O_(3),Y_(2)O_(3) and TiO_(2) as sintering additives.The effects of TiC whisker content on microstructure and mechanical properties of the Si_(3)N_(4)-TiC_(w) composite ceramic materials were analyzed.The results show that the α-Si_(3)N_(4) phase is partially transformed into β-Si_(3)N_(4) phase during the sintering.When the content of TiC_(w) is less than 30 vol%,it is uniformly distributed in the Si_(3)N_(4) matrix,which has good chemical compatibility with Si_(3)N_(4).The appropriate addition amount of TiC_(w) can reduce the surface diffusion between Si_(3)N_(4) particles and inhibit the abnormal growth of Si_(3)N_(4) grains,thereby increasing the density of the composite ceramic materials.When the content of TiC_(w) is 30 vol%,the Si_(3)N_(4)-TiC_(w) composite ceramic material has the best performance,with the density of 97.71%,the flexural strength of 720.463 MPa,the fracture toughness of 7.6 MPa·m1/2,and the Vickers hardness of 18.412 GPa.
