摘　　要：杭州国家版本馆选址在世界文化遗产杭州良渚古城遗址附近,建筑的功能是对中国传统藏书楼的现代回应。建筑师面对的挑战,是如何将传统的不对公众开放的藏书楼,设计为一个现代的,以藏书为主,同时包含江南地区历史上有文明印记、有文化传承的各方面藏品的建筑。它将图书馆、博物馆、档案馆、美术馆等功能结合为一体,并向公众大幅度开放。项目选址的原场地是两个大型废弃矿坑,所在山岭原本残破不堪。但建筑师却被场地具有的在中国南方罕见的光秃崖壁唤起了对中国宋代巨幅山水画的回忆,因为在1000年前的宋代,杭州曾是都城,那个时期的山水绘画被公认是中国绘画的最高成就,园林和绘画直接相关,所以建筑师把设计的主题确定为用这种尊重自然的绘画意识去修复自然。The site of the Hangzhou Branch of the National Archives of Publications and Culture is located near the ancient city site of Liangzhu in Hangzhou,a World Heritage Site.The functions of the building reflect a modern response to the traditional Chinese library.The main challenge the architects faced was to transform a traditional book collection building,which was not open to the public in traditional China,into a modern building whose main function is to collect books but which also includes collections on all aspects of the history of the Jiangnan region(the south region of the Yangtze River),which bear the civilisational imprint and which can be culturally transmitted.It is a combination of library,museum,archive,and art gallery,most of which are open to the public.
