摘　　要：民主是近代以来中华民族和中国人民的不懈追求。在探索现代政治文明的过程中,毛泽东形成了对民主的创造性认识。民主的概念包含理念与定在两个方面,毛泽东的民主构境在理念上呈现为人民民主的价值理想,在定在上体现为民主权利、民主方式、民主制度、民主精神的多维镜像。毛泽东的探索开觉中华民族现代文明的民主理想,启蒙了中华民族现代政治文明的认识;开辟中华民族现代文明的民主道路,引领了中华民族现代政治文明的方向;开创中华民族现代文明的民主制度,筑牢了中华民族现代政治文明的根基;开建中华民族现代文明的民主形态,树立了中华民族现代政治文明的典范。Democracy has been the unremitting pursuit of the Chinese nation and its people since modern times.In the exploration of modern political civilization,Mao Zedong developed a creative understanding of democracy.The concept of democracy includes two aspects:ideology and dasein(existence or being there).Mao Zedong’s democratic construct presents the value ideal of people’s democracy ideologically,while in practical terms,it manifests as multidimensional mirror images of democratic rights,methods,institutions,and spirit.Mao Zedong’s exploration awakened the democratic ideals of modern Chinese civilization,enlightened the Chinese nation’s understanding of modern political civilization,blazed a trail for paving the democratic path of modern Chinese civilization,and guided the direction of modern political civilization of the Chinese nation.Furthermore,Mao Zedong’s exploration initiated the democratic system of modern Chinese civilization,laying a solid foundation for modern Chinese political civilization and built up the democratic form of the Chinese nation’s modern civilization,setting paradigms for the Chinese nation's modern political civilization.
