摘　　要：当代环境问题及生态危机呈现跨区域态势,边疆地区或因生态分界被打破,或因位于生态位过渡带,成为环境巨变及生态恶化的高危区域,边疆环境史研究在历史进程及环境史学界长期缺位的状况近年有所改变,但仍有极大的提升空间。边疆历史环境变迁及生态恶化晚于内地,近代化以来,生态危机使边疆在另一层面上成为中心,成为环境外交中影响最大、关注度最高的区域。边疆环境的自然属性及其生态价值开始显现并日渐回归,其学术价值及现实意义以另一种面目呈现。作为当代环境整体史学的重要部分,边疆环境史必将在生物多样性及本土生态恢复、生态安全、环境外交等领域彰显其无可替代的作用及价值。Contemporary environmental problems and crises are showing an increasingly serious cross-border development trend.The frontiers have become high-risk areas for environmental changes and ecological deterioration due to the broken ecological boundary or the location in the niche transition zone.The long-term absence of frontier envi-ronmental history research in the historical process and the research field of environmental history has changed in recent years.The occurrences of historical environmental changes and ecological deterioration in the frontiers are later than those in the inland regions.Since the era of modernization,the ecological crises have made the frontiers as the research center in another sense,which have become the region with the greatest influence and the highest concern in environmental diplomacy.The natural attribute and niche value of the frontier environment have begun to appear and return gradually,and its academic value and practical significance are presented in another way.As an important part of contemporary environmental history as a whole,the frontier environmental history will certainly demonstrate its irre-placeable role and value in biodiversity,local ecological restoration,ecological security,environmental diplomacy and other fields.
