摘　　要：薇拉·凯瑟是美国第一位描写西部拓荒时代的女作家,被誉为20世纪美国最杰出的作家之一。该文以“他者”视角深入探究其代表作《啊,拓荒者!》中女性移民身份的重构过程。运用文本分析法,深入探讨乡村异化、父权束缚及移民排斥等议题对女性移民身份的影响,展现她们所面临的“他者”身份困境,以及从“他者”到“自我”的身份转变过程。这一转变过程涉及摆脱“他者”身份的束缚、解构种族与性别的限制、实现身份的重建,并克服文化冲突,最终实现文化交融。该文旨在丰富薇拉·凯瑟作品研究,并为美国女性文学研究提供新的视角和理论支持。Willa Cather,the first American female writer to depict the Western frontier era,is hailed as one of the most outstanding authors of the 20th century.This paper delves into the reconstruction of female immigrant identities in her seminal work,O Pioneers!,from the perspective of"the other".Employing textual analysis,it explores the impact of issues such as rural alienation,patriarchal constraints,and immigrant exclusion on female immigrant identities.The novel portrays their predicament as"others"and their transformation from this status to selfhood.This transformative process involves breaking free from the shackles of"the other,"deconstructing racial and gender limitations,reconstructing identity,and overcoming cultural conflicts to ultimately achieve cultural fusion.The aim of this research is to enrich the study of Willa Cather's works and provide new perspectives and theoretical support for American women's literature.
