《坎特伯雷故事集》中的狂欢书写及喜剧特征

摘　　要：乔叟的《坎特伯雷故事集》作为诗体短篇小说集,以鲜明的笔触和丰富的想象从多个角度生动地再现了不同阶层、不同身份朝圣者的故事,揭示了当时的社会现实及社会矛盾。乔叟综合运用幽默、夸张、戏剧化的描写方式营造欢乐的氛围,让狂欢书写贯穿于故事全程,其巧妙的结构设计及反讽手法的运用让小说呈现出喜剧特征。按照狂欢背景、狂欢故事、狂欢落幕的逻辑理路,对《坎特伯雷故事集》的狂欢书写及喜剧特征进行了分析,深入挖掘了小说的现实意义。Chaucer’s The Canterbury Tales,as a collection of short stories in poetic form,vividly repro-duces the stories of pilgrims of different identities from multiple facets with distinctive strokes and rich imag-inations,revealing the appearance and contradictions of the society at that time.In the process of writing,Chaucer comprehensively used humour,exaggeration and dramatization and created a joyful atmosphere,make carnival writing style throughout the whole story,and the clever structure design and the use of irony make the novel show the cmedy artistic characteristics.According to the logic of carnival background,carni-val story,and carnival ending,this paper analyses the carnival writing of The Canterbury Tales and the cme-dy artistic characteristics,and grasps the realistic significance of the novel.
