摘　　要：澳大利亚国家安全研究与其立国时间较短、在国际政治中属于中等国家行列,以及“孤悬在亚洲的西方前哨国家”的身份认知密切相关。这一自我认知设定了澳大利亚安全研究的基本框架。受此认知框架制约,澳大利亚的国家安全研究始终围绕三个主题即“澳大利亚是谁”、与美国的同盟关系、是否应提供与大国不一样的安全议程展开。地理上的独特性和中等国家体量,导致澳大利亚国家安全研究相比其他国家更重视环境安全、人的安全,以及从性别视角重新审视和界定国家安全等。National security studies in Australia are deeply shaped and influenced by the country's identity as a liminal and middle-sized state in the world geopolitical landscape.Australian national security studies focus on three themes:Australia's identity and position in the world,its alliance with the United States,and exploring national security issues that are new to traditional security studies in major powers.Australian national security studies place greater emphasis on climate security,human security,and a feminist national security approach.Research on these issues helps to expand the scope of and provide new lens to national security studies in general.
