摘　　要：In the historical development of ancient China,moralized politics is not only the political ideal of Confucianism,but also political practice that lasts for dynasties after dynasties and maintains the legitimacy and stable governance of the regime.Measures regarding ethnic work in ancient China consist of several aspects,including the ritual and ceremonial system which"distinguishes Hua(Chinese)from Yi(Barbarians)based on their understanding on Li(rites),"and"cherishes men from afar",as well as the promotion of a cultural and educational system with Confucianism at its core.By all kinds of ritual,ceremonial,cultural,and educational exchanges,ethnic groups in China culturally connect and identify themselves with China,which also reflects China's cultural characteristics as a unified multiethnic nation.A series of cultural values with Confucianism as core,by means of promotion and spread under the guidance of the nation,are deeply rooted in the hearts of people from all ethnic groups,and thus become a vital component of the spiritual culture created jointly by all ethnic groups in China.
