摘　　要：Rivers,lakes,and other bodies of water Jare the lifeblood of our planet,the wellspring of human life,and the cradle of civilization.Since the 18th National Congress of the Communist Party of China(CPC)in 2012,the Central Committee with Xi Jinping at the core has placed great emphasis on the protection and management of rivers,launching a national river strategy.This has paved the way for a new chapter in river protection and management in the new era.
