摘　　要：伍尔夫日记所折射出的不仅是她的个人世界,更是整个时代的缩影。日记一旦走出私人空间进入公共领域,参与现代文化生产和舆论空间建构,就具有了社会属性,体现了伍尔夫勇于担负起一个作家的社会责任。伍尔夫日记中的大量史料纠正了以前许多研究者认为伍尔夫不关心时事政治的看法。她将所参加的各种政治活动都通过日记记录下来,并明确表明了对这些政治事件的态度和立场,其社会批判意识也最先在日记中得以体现。首先,伍尔夫始终保持对工人阶级和劳动人民的同情,她在日记中两次集中记录和讨论伦敦工人大罢工的情况,认清了政党内部斗争丑恶的一面。其次,伍尔夫把战争给整个人类社会所带来的巨大伤害一一写进了日记之中,表达了对战争的强烈控诉和批判。最后,伍尔夫考察了妇女解放运动史,还认为日记能够书写女性历史、参与重建女性文学传统。More than an individual's limited space,Woolf's diary draws a microcosm of the human world,which once moves from the private sphere into the public sphere,and is involved within the construction of modem culture production and socal networks.It 800 takes on social atributs and ilustrates that Woolf is an itlltual with onscience who is able to take her social resposibility.The aurchival documents in Woolf's diary reveals her slow growth from a woman who was fairly apolitical and concerned mainly with art,to an artist who realizes that art and polis are inxtriably linked.Thus.it changes the vicw that Woolf is elite who pays no attention to the society.She records the political events and the fascinating development of her personal political thought,80 that her critical awareness of politics first appears in her diary other than her other works.Wwolfr shows great sympathy for the working-class people in the diary,and utlies the diary to record and discuss two great London workers'strikes,which make her recognize the dirty inside of partisan batls.Wolf s acutely corscdous of the war.and she relects upon it continually.While keeping a detailed account of the two World Wars,Woolf writes the terrible disaster the war has caused to the buman beings into ber diary entries,and stongly voices her criticisn and indictment of the war.Woolf investigates the history of Women's Liberation Moverment.She believes that diary could reconstruct and rewrite women's own history and the tradition of women's literature.
