摘 要:同步辐射是电子以接近光速做圆周运动或蛇行运动时,沿着运动轨道的切线方向发出的电磁辐射,或称为光。这种辐射覆盖了从红外线到硬X射线的宽幅波段,并且具有亮度高、相干性好等优点。特别是在软X射线和硬X射线波段,同步辐射光源是唯一兼具高亮度和波长可调谐的光源,为研究原子分子与光子的相互作用过程提供了高度精细的实验利器,并由此打开解析微观世界新的大门。文章从同步辐射的产生过程剖析其关键要素,并综述了同步辐射在原子分子物理研究中的最新进展。Synchrotron radiation is electromagnetic radiation that is emitted along the tangential direction of the motion orbit when electrons make circular or snaking motion at a speed close to the speed of light.It is also called light.This radiation covers a wide band from infrared rays to hard X-rays,and has excellent characteristics such as high brightness and good coherence.Especially in the soft X-ray and hard X-ray bands,synchrotron radiation source is the only source with both high brightness and free choice of wavelength.It provides a highly sophisticated experimental tool for studying the interactions between atoms or molecules and highenergy photons,thus opening a new door to the analysis of the microscopic world.In this paper,the key elements of synchrotron radiation are analyzed in the process of its production and utilization,and the latest progress of synchrotron radiation in atomic and molecular physics is reviewed.
