技术创新、空间溢出与城市高质量发展——来自中国285个城市的证据

摘　　要：当前,城市是中国经济高质量发展的核心区域,科技创新是高质量发展的主引擎。技术创新对城市经济增长质量有显著正向影响,但在不同城市间却表现出显著异质性。相较于东部地区,中部地区的经济增长质量效应更强,而西部地区的技术创新则抑制了城市经济的高质量发展,沿海城市从技术创新中受益更多,城市群的发展加强了技术创新对经济增长质量的正向影响。另外,城市经济活动的地理相关性使得技术创新产生了空间溢出效应,并通过技术扩散等方式促进邻近城市经济的高质量发展。所有这些对于理解和指导中国城市经济高质量发展策略都具有重要意义,不仅揭示了技术创新在促进区域经济发展中的关键作用,还为政策制定者针对不同区域和城市类型制定差异化创新政策提供了参考依据。At present,cities are the core areas of high-quality economic development in China,and scientific and technological innovation is the main engine of high-quality development.Technological innovation has a significant positive effect on the quality of urban economic growth,but shows significant heterogeneity across cities.Compared with the eastern region,the quality effect of economic growth is stronger in the central region,while technological innovation in the western region inhibits the high quality of urban economic development,coastal cities benefit more from technological innovation,and the development of city clusters strengthens the positive impact of technological innovation on the quality of economic growth.In addition,the geographic relevance of urban economic activities makes technological innovation generate spatial spillover effects and promote the high-quality development of neighboring cities’economies through technology diffusion and other means.All these are important for understanding and guiding the strategy of high-quality development of China’s urban economy,which not only reveals the key role of technological innovation in promoting regional economic development,but also provides a reference basis for policy makers to formulate differentiated innovation policies for different regions and city types.
