China has a large reserve of weathered graphite ore with complex composition, and the fixed carbon recovery rate of graphite concentrate is low.In order to efficiently utilize weathered graphite ore, this article takes quartz, mica, chlorite, limonite, kaolin and other minerals contained in the weathered ore slurry of Yunshan graphite mine in Luobei county as the object, studies the influence mechanism of primary slurry on graphite flotation efficiency, and explores methods to reduce the influence of slurry. The research shows that the main reasons affecting the graphite flotation are the heterogeneous condensation of slime and graphite, the serious cover of mica, kaolinite and limonite on the surface of graphite, the weak cover of feldspar and chlorite on the surface of graphite, and the greater possibility of quartz and diopside floating up due to foam entrainment; The use of sodium silicate and sodium hexametaphosphate as a combination inhibitor can effectively improve the effect of ore slurry on graphite beneficiation.
