摘 要:基于“国家电子商务示范城市”这一准自然实验,运用2007—2021年城市面板数据,构建多时点DID模型探究城市电商化发展、就业结构与消费升级之间的关联。研究发现:城市电商化发展显著促进消费升级,此结论在一系列稳健性检验下依然成立。机制检验表明,城市电商化发展可通过提升就业结构有效赋能消费升级,主要表现为就业创造效应和就业替代效应两条路径。进一步研究其空间效应发现,国家电子商务示范城市建设发挥了显著示范效应,城市电商化发展不仅能推动本地消费升级,对其他地区的就业结构和消费升级均存在空间扩散效应。Based on the quasi natural experiment of“National E-commerce Demonstration City”,the paper used the 2017-2021 urban panel data to construct a multi time point DID model,and then explored the correlation among urban e-commerce development,employment structure,and consumption upgrading.The research found that:urban e-commerce development has significantly promoted consumption upgrading,and this conclusion still held true under a series of robustness tests.Mechanism test showed that,the influential path in this relation was the improvement of employment structure,mainly covering the employment creation effect and the employment substitution effect.Further analysis on the spatial effect revealed that,the construction of“National E-commerce Demonstration City”had a significant demonstration effect.Urban e-commerce development not only drove local consumption upgrading,but also exerted a spatial diffusion effect on the employment structures and consumption upgrading in other regions.
