摘　　要：郭元咀遗址位于湖北省武汉市黄陂区前川街道二程书院北部,坐落于鲁台山北麓、水东岸的台地上。遗址南北长300、东西宽100米,因受城市建设影响,现存面积不足3000平方米(图一)。2019~2020年,湖北省文物考古研究所联合北京大学考古文博学院、武汉市黄陂区文物管理所在遗址西北部进行了发掘,发掘面积1200余平方米,揭露一处用于铸铜的大型台基。The Guoyuanzui site is situated at the northern foot of Lutai Mountain and on the tableland on the east bank of She River in Huangpi District,Wuhan City,Hubei Province.From 2019 to 2020,the Hubei Provincial Institute of Cultural Relics and Archaeology and others excavated the northwest part of the site and uncovered a large foundation used for bronze casting.In 2021,they discovered a large ash pit(H60)at the center of the foundation.The pit has the periphery of an irregular ellipse,tapering sharply to the bottom,and the section is observed in a deep cylindrical shape,with the western part of the bottom slightly concave.Many artifacts found in H60,including everyday pottery,bronzes,and bronze melting and casting tools;the everyday pottery categorized in li-vessel,yan-steamer,dingtripod,jar,jia-wine vessel,basin,wide-mouthed zun-wine vessel,and wide-mouthed vat.According to unearthed artifacts,the time H60 was abandoned is equivalent to the period from the late Huayuanzhuang Phase of the Huanbei Shang City to the late First Phase of Yinxu.The bronze casting remains from H60,such as fragments of furnace and crucible and pottery molds,provide important materials for studying metallurgical and mold casting technologies in the southern region during the Shang Dynasty.
