摘　　要：After King Ping of Zhou moved its capital eastward,the Qin State swiftly emerged and established a stronghold in Shaanxi.In 221 B.C.,Emperor Qinshihuang unified six states,founding the first centralized authoritarian empire in Chinesehistory,a model of governancethat would resonate throughthe ages and exert profound influence.
