In order to promote the resource utilization of high calcium fly ash,a high-strength building material was prepared using high calcium fly ash from gangue power plants, together with cement, sand, and water, and its mechanical and durability properties were tested. The results showed that as the proportion of high calcium fly ash increased, the strength of building materials gradually decreased. When the proportion of cement was constant,as the proportion of sand increased, the compressive strength of building materials gradually increased. When the pro⁃portion of cement and sand was 20%each,the strength could reach C30.When the proportion of sand was con⁃stant, the strength of cement with a proportion of 20%was higher than that with a proportion of 10%.Mixing ce⁃ment and sand could effectively reduce the water absorption of building materials and enhance their frost resistance. When high calcium fly ash∶cement∶sand=6∶2∶2,and the water solid ratio was 0.27,the original crack pores in the building materials were less, the density was higher, and it was more conducive to the improvement of the later per⁃formance of the building materials.
