明清常州法氏世医考述

摘　　要：常州法氏自明末法世美迁居常州,历经十余世,成毗陵巨族。族中以儒医传世,多乐善好施、勤俭仁孝之士。族中名医辈出,自法世美而至征麟、公麟医名大盛,此后家族子弟克绳祖武,而有“法氏子孙”之誉。家族影响遍及常州武进及周边地区。更有诸如偿资救母子、移风易俗等医德故事传为美谈。惜晚清动荡,多位族裔及其家累世医著多遭兵燹,已难知其经验学术。今仅见《医学要览》1卷,存疑尚多,仍有待进一步研究。The first member of Fa family,Fa Shimei,moved to Changzhou at the end of the Ming Dynasty.After more than ten generations,they have become a huge family in Changzhou.The family are handed down as Confucian doctors,who are benevolent,generous,diligent,and filial.From Fa Shimei to Fa Zhenglin,Fa Gonglin,the descendants of the family have inherited their ancestral heritage,and have the reputation of"descendants of the Fa family"as famous doctors.Its family influence is not only in Changzhou,but also has a radiation effect on the medical development of surrounding areas.There are also stories of medical ethics such as repaying money to save mothers and children,changing customs.However,due to the turbulent situation of the late Qing Dynasty,family members and their medical books passed down from generation to generation were destroyed in the war.It is difficult to know their experience and scholarship.There are only one volume of Yixue Yaolan(Medical Essentials)remaining which still have many doubts need further study.
