摘 要:在西方文化中,数字被赋予深刻的人文内涵,数字“三”意蕴尤其丰富,数字“三”在西方民间叙事中出现的频率很高,形成鲜明的数字“三”范式,发挥了独特的叙事功能,具体表现为:数字“三”神秘魔力,数字“三”叙事节奏,数字“三”优胜原则,数字“三”范式也成为西方民间叙事的标志性符号。Profound culture is hidden in numbers,of which the number“three”especially has abundant connotation.“Three”is viewed as a standard or an extreme in amount or degree.It also refers to a sort of widely-recognized rule or scale.“Three”is sanctified with magic generating power usually in form of three-set or three-unit.Frequently“three”appears in Western folk literature with its narrative functions,which defines the rhythm of tale and presents superiority principle.This way of narrative has been a paradigm or motif in Western folk literature.
