晚清科学史译著《哲学源流考》述要

摘　　要：伦敦会传教士山雅各翻译的《哲学源流考》,主要介绍西方15世纪至19世纪西方著名的天文学家以及近代天文学发展史。文章对《哲学源流考》中译本的不同版本予以对比,揭示出其底本来源,进而对该书的主要内容予以概括介绍,并就其中节译、增补、名词翻译等的特点作初步分析。James Sadler was a missionary of the London Missionary Society.His translation of Pioneers of Science mainly introduces the famous western astronomers and the development history of western astronomy from the 15th century to the 19th century.This article compares different versions of the Chinese translation,reveals its original version,and then provides a general introduction to the main content of the Chinese translation,preliminarily analyzes the characteristics,such as the excerpts,additions,and terms translations.
