数字人文推动下的中世纪史研究——从亨利三世罚金卷轴的数字化看中世纪史发展的新趋向

摘　　要：亨利三世罚金卷轴是研究13世纪英国史的重要史料。有关罚金卷轴的出现时间、罚金数目的确定和缴纳、罚金卷轴与原始卷轴之间的关系等方面值得注意。亨利三世罚金卷轴工程被视为数字开发和利用的优秀案例。为了维系学术的严谨性,项目组采取文本搜索和数字摹本等诸多措施。基于罚金卷轴工程,围绕英国社会各阶层对普通法的态度、“四骑士制”的运行、亨利三世对《大宪章》的态度等问题,学界对亨利三世时期的政治与司法展开了深入研究,并取得了相应进展,着重表现在确证旧观点、得出新答案、发掘新史实等层面。The fine rolls of Henry III are important documents for the study of the 13th-century English history.The time range of these fine rolls,the ways to enforce charges,and the connection of the fine rolls to the"original rolls"are all aspects deserving serious scholarly attention.Based upon the result of the digitization projects concerning Henry III’s fine rolls,scholars have conducted in-depth studies in areas such as the attitudes of various classes of English society towards common law,the operation of the"four knights system",and Henry III’s stance on the Magna Carta.
