摘 要:通学空间是国内适龄儿童使用频率最高的城市公共空间,其设施供给与环境品质对于儿童健康成长有着重要的影响,活力通学环境的打造有助于儿童日常选择自行车或步行的低碳方式上下学。泰州市新城区的2所小学周边地区通过儿童友好的通学空间营造,鼓励儿童选择活力通学的出行方式,减少私人机动车的使用。该文从街道功能划分、人车交通管理、校园入口接送、旧有围墙利用和成长公园建设等5个方面探讨面向活力通学的街道空间营造策略,使其在保证儿童通学出行安全、提高儿童整体体力活动水平与缓解通学时段交通拥堵等方面发挥综合效益。School commuting spaces are the most frequently used urban public spaces by age-appropriate children in China,the facility supply and the environmental quality greatly impact the healthy growth of children:Creating a vibrant commuting environment helps children choose low-carbon methods such as bicycling or walking for their daily school commute.In the new urban area of Taizhou City,the construction of child-friendly commuting spaces around two primary schools encourages children to choose active commuting methods and reduces the use of private cars.In this article we explore strategies for creating vibrant commuting street spaces from five aspects:street function division,traffic management between pedestrians and vehicles,school entrance pick-up and drop-off,utilization of existing walls,and development of growth parks.These strategies are aimed at ensuring the safety of children's commuting,enhancing their overall level of physical activity,and alleviating traffic congestion during school commuting times,so as to provide comprehensive benefits.
