摘　　要：民国时期的通俗期刊刊登了大量新的身体知识文章与身体图像,其内容可概括为三类:一是将身体的内部结构及相关知识客观地呈现和介绍给公众;二是将身体看成是由各种微量元素组成的物质实体;三是将身体描述为一架精巧的机器或一座规律化运作的工厂。这表明一种新的迥异于中国传统的身体观念开始在大众视野中出现并流行,身体是可视化的、物质化的、还原论的、可测量的、机器化的身体。它的出现和流行一方面与近代西方解剖学和生理学的进一步传入密不可分,另一方面也势必进一步促进国人对西医理论及其临床实践的接纳。The popular periodicals in the Republican period introduced massive new knowledge and images of body in three main aspects.The first was to present and introduce the body’s internal structure and related knowledge to the public.The second was to consider the body as an entity composed of substances including water,proteins,and trace elements.The last one was to describe the body as a delicate machine or a running factory.This indicated that a new conception of body which was different from the Chinese traditional one emerged and became popular in the public during this period.This new concept presented the body as visualized,materialized,reductionistic,measurable,and mechanized.The emergence of this view was inseparable from the introduction of modern Western science especially physiology and medicine.Meanwhile,it also facilitated the acceptance of the theory and the clinical practice of Western medicine by Chinese people.
