摘　　要：吉兆话是一种新发现的语言,与侗台语族台语支语言关系最为密切。从核心词同源关系及音变创新看,吉兆话与临高语最为亲近,但又独具个性,应视作台语支内一种独立语言,或可与临高语共同构成台语分支“东部台语”。Jizhao,a newly-discovered language,is most closely related to languages of the Tai branch of the Kam-Tai language group.From the perspective of the relationship of core cognates and the innovative sound changes,it is closest to the Lingao language.Yet with its own distinctive features,it should be considered an independent language within the Tai branch,and may constitute the"Eastern Tai"sub-branch together with the Lingao language.
