摘　　要：2023年是《老残游记》发表120周年的纪念年。一百余年来,众多学者、专家对《老残游记》作出了重要、独到、值得深入探讨的评论,从中可得出结论:《老残游记》是继《红楼梦》之后,对中国传统文化作出多方面精彩提炼和呈示的高峰之作,不但具有高度的文化性、思想性、哲学性、文学性、艺术性,而且还是中国历史上鲜见的现实主义和浪漫主义、东方传统文明与西方现代文明高度结合的文化经典,对于中国乃至人类文明的走向、发展和升华,都具有相当的启示意义和研究价值。The year 2023 marked the 120th anniversary of the publication of"The Travels of Lao Can".Over the past century,many scholars have provided important and insightful comments on"The Travels of Lao Can".It can be concluded that"The Travels of Lao Can",as a follower of Dream of the Red Chamber,represents another peak in the multifaceted refinement and presentation of Chinese traditional culture.It not only exhibits profound cultural,philosophical,literary,and artistic qualities but also stands out as a cultural classic that realizes the unique integration of realism and romanticism,Eastern traditional civilization with Western modern civilization—a rarity in Chinese history.Its significance and research value extend to the direction,deve-lopment,and elevation of Chinese and even human civilization.Ren Guangyu published New Interpretation of the"Trans-Temporal Achievements and Cultural Novel Positioning of Travels of Lao Can"in the Journal of Huaiyin Teachers College(Social Sciences Edition),2019,Issue 4(referred to as New Interpretation of Positioning).The words"Traditional"and"Modern"are added here to emphasize that"The Travels of Lao Can"should be recognized as a rare"cultural classic"in Chinese classical literature that realizes the unique integration of Eastern traditional civilization with Western modern civilization"in Chinese classical literature.
