摘 要:叶芝作为20世纪最伟大的诗人之一,其人其诗一直是众多研究者的探究热点,尤其是他晚期诗歌中的二律背反或悖论问题,大多数研究者认为其诗达成了在矛盾中的统一;有的虽得出相反结论,但研究不够充分和深入。这里仍以二律背反为切入口,集中研究叶芝晚期诗歌中的悖论表现及原因。研究发现,叶芝晚期诗歌中存在升华与去升华、身体与心灵、确定性与不确定性等几对主要矛盾。一方面,诗人叶芝运用这些矛盾或二律背反来组织和描述生活经历,另一方面,经由这种诗歌艺术的矛盾审美,诗人才能将其生活中经历的种种矛盾逐渐释放和消解。As one of the greatest poets in the 20th century,Yeats has been the focus of many researchersr especially over the antinomy or paradox in his late poems.Most researchers believe that his poems achieve unity in contradiction.Although some draw the opposite conclusion,their research is not yet sufficient and in-depth.This paper still takes antinomy as the starting point and focuses on the expression and causes of paradoxes in Yeats'late poems.The author contends that there are several major contradictions in Yeats'late poems,such as sublimation and de-sublimation,body and mind,certainty and uncertainty.On the one hand,the poet Yeats uses these contradictions or antinomies to organize and describe his life experiences.On the other hand,through this aesthetics of antinomy,Yeats in real life can gradually release and resolve the contradictions experienced in his character.
