A Career on the Exploration of Tibetan Art and its Inheritance——An Interview with Kenchock Tenzin,a Famous Tibetan Art Researcher

摘　　要：根秋登子教授,曾任四川省藏文学校副校长、甘孜州藏学研究所所长、编译中心主任及甘孜州政协副主席等职。2006年作为引进人才到西南民族大学任教授,2016年作为外聘专家到四川大学喜马拉雅研究中心工作。现任国家“十三五”重点规划项目“西藏特色文化资源库建设”专家委员会主任、中国唐卡艺术专业委员会副主任。先生主要从事藏族美术创作与研究工作,先后出版专著20余种;发表藏、汉文学术论文(散文)100余篇;在美国哥伦比亚大学、德国汉堡大学等国内外知名院校和学术机构讲座120余次。文章围绕根秋登子先生的学术经历、成就及贡献等对其进行了专访。Professor Kenchok Tenzin,the vice headmaster of the Tibetan Language School of Sichuan Province,the director of Garze Institute of Tibetan Studies,the director of the Compilation and Translation Centre,and the vice chairman of the CPPCC of Garze Prefecture.It was in 2006 when he became a professor and researcher of Southwest Minzu University through Talent Introduction Program,and then was engaged as an expert serving for the Himalayan Research Centre of Sichuan University in 2016.Currently,he works as the director of the Expert Committee of the project of"Tibetan Cultural Resource Base Construction",a key national project of the 13th Five-Year Plan,as well as the deputy director of China Professional Committee of Thangka Art.Professor Ken⁃chok Tenzin has mainly engaged in the creation and research of Tibetan art,and has published more than 20 monographs,more than 100 academic papers and prose in Tibetan and Chinese,and he has given more than 120 lectures at renowned universities and academic institutions at home and abroad,Columbia University in the U.S.A.,the University of Hamburg in Germany,for instance.The article contains the content of the interview with him focusing on his academic experience,achievements and contributions.
