The combination of brick carving based on scissors and iron is a common theme of brick chamber tombs with wood imitation structure in the Song and Jin dynasties, which is used as decoration to construct the interior space together with doors and Windows, tables and chairs, hangers, etc.Archaeological reports have different names for the long-handled with spout brick carving in the combination, naming it as an iron, jiaodou, diaozi, and liushao.Combined with documentation and archeological reports,it can be preliminarily identified as"diaozi"for boiling tea.The addition of diaozi means that in the tomb space,in addition to the combination of sissors and iron, there is also a combination of sissors, iron and diaozi. The diaozi for boiling tea is shared with the scissors, iron and ruler, which symbolize the needlework, suggesting that women are also the main body of the tea afairs and play an importantroleinit.
