摘　　要：医疗废物是医疗卫生机构产生的所有废物的总称,包括医疗卫生机构收治和检查传染病患者或者疑似传染病患者后产生的生活垃圾.加强医疗废物处理和安全管理工作,能有效防止疾病传播,保障人体健康,保护环境.妇幼保健机构的建立不仅能保障妇女儿童的身体健康,还关乎我国人口健康状况、劳动力的综合素质水平和未来发展前景,起着促进社会繁荣和进步的作用.妇幼保健机构的主要作用是保障妇女儿童身体健康和生命安全,处于妊娠期的妇女可能存在生理和心理的双重压力,妇幼保健机构对其实施良好的妊娠期干预可降低孕产妇和新生儿死亡率,优化妇女儿童身体健康状况.妇幼保健机构医疗废物处理工作的有效开展可减慢传染病的传播速度,减小传播范围,降低妇女儿童院内感染概率,保障妇女儿童身心健康.Medical waste is a general term for all waste generated by medical and health institutions,including household waste generated after receiving and inspecting patients with infectious diseases or suspected patients.Strengthening the treatment and safety management of medical waste can effectively prevent the spread of diseases,ensure human health,and protect the environment.The establishment of maternal and child health institutions not only ensures the physical health of women and children,but also relates to the health status of China’s population,the comprehensive quality level of the labor force,and future development prospects,playing a role in promoting social prosperity and progress.The main role of maternal and child health institutions is to ensure the physical health and safety of women and children.Pregnant women may face dual physiological and psychological pressures.Effective intervention during pregnancy by maternal and child health institutions can reduce maternal and neonatal mortality rates,optimize the physical health of women and children.The effective implementation of medical waste treatment in maternal and child health institutions can slow down the spread of infectious diseases,reduce the scope of transmission,reduce the probability of hospital acquired infections among women and children,and ensure the physical and mental health of women and children.
