摘　　要：俞咨皋出身将门,其父俞大猷是“明朝名将,民族英雄,军事家,武术家”。俞咨皋承袭长兄俞咨荣职位,初在海坛治兵,历任蓟门游击、福建参将、浙江参将、潮州参将、福建南路副总兵等,最后官至福建总兵官。俞咨皋精于水战,在抗击倭寇和红夷等斗争中屡立战功,为保卫东南沿海人民的生命财产安全和维护东南海疆安宁做出了重要贡献。天启末,俞咨皋因未能妥善安置受抚的杨六、杨七及中左所战事不利受到了惩处。Yu Zigao came from a family of generals,and his father Yu Dayou was a"famous general of the Ming Dynasty,a national hero,a military strategist,and a martial artist."Yu Zigao succeeded his elder brother Yu Zigong's position and initially served in Haitan to manage the troops.He successively held positions such as the patrol of Ji Gate,the deputy commander of Fujian,the deputy commander of Zhejiang,the deputy commander of Chaozhou,the deputy commander of southern route of Fujian,and finally became the commander-in-chief of Fujian.Yu Zigao was proficient in naval warfare and made significant contributions to defending the lives and property of the people along the southeast coast and maintaining the peace of the southeast maritime border by repeatedly establishing military achievements in the struggles against the Japanese pirates and the Dutch.At the end of the Tiangi period of the Ming Dynasty,Yu Zigao was punished for failing to properly settle Yang Liu and Yang Qi,who had been appeased,and for the unfavorable war situation in Zhongzuo battle.
