摘　　要：At the end of 2023, Chinese Academy of Sciences(CAS) and Chinese Academy of Engineering(CAE) successively announced “2023 Research Fronts”^[1] and “2023 Engineering Fronts”^([2,3]), respectively. Among them, agricultural sciences occupy a pivotal position on both fronts.
