In the context of modernity, the"reconciliation between man and nature"in"our current century"essentially reveals the problem of how to realize mutual recognition between man and nature since industrial civilization.Marx's view of nature actually contains the rich connotation of the mutual recognition of man and nature:On the one hand, nature,as"humanized nature",acknowledges and affirms humanity's essential powers;on the other hand, human activities must acknowledge nature's pre-existing conditions as the environment for human existence and its inherent laws. However, the capitalist mode of production pursues the predatory logic of accumulation and completely ignores the premise of mutual recognition between man and nature, resulting in the rupture of material metabolism and the impoverishment of nature, ultimately driving the opposition between humanity and nature to a historical extreme. Therefore, only on the basis of Marx's view of nature, with the full development of science and technology, with the mutual recognition of man and nature, can we fully transcend the logic of capital and achieve a genuine resolution to the contradictions between man and nature, and among humans themselves.
