身份困惑与自我追寻——从凝视理论解读加缪《不忠的女人》

摘　　要：《不忠的女人》是加缪在20世纪50年代创作的短篇小说。作者以一个生活在阿尔及利亚的法籍女性的视角,描写了被边缘化的个体在男性主导的殖民社会中体验到的不安与惶惑。在一次前往阿国南部的旅程中,主人公雅尼娜遭遇他者和他者凝视,她游走在主客体之间,在社会他者语境下难以自我定位,由此产生了精神危机。这次精神危机既是这篇小说的中心,也是本文分析的重点。本文以凝视理论为基础,通过分析雅尼娜作为凝视主体和凝视客体的存在状态,解读人物之间的视线交流、揭露目光中隐藏的身份意识、剖析雅尼娜此次精神危机产生的原因以及她对这种状态的反应。“The Adulterous Woman”is a short story written by Camus in the 1950s.From the perspective of a Blackfoot woman,the author describes the uneasiness and confusion experienced by marginalized individuals in a male-dominated colonial society.During a journey to the south of her motherland,the protagonist Janine encounters the Other and the Other’s gaze.She wanders between the identity of subject and object and has difficulty in positioning herself in society.This results in her spiritual crisis,which is both the center of the novel and the focus of this analysis.Based on the theory of gaze,this article analyzes Janine’s existence as both a subject and object of the gaze,interprets the gaze exchanges between characters,reveals the identity consciousness hidden behind the gaze,and analyzes the reasons for Janine’s mental crisis and her reaction to her state of affairs.
