摘  要:《手艺活》是当代俄罗斯域外作家多甫拉托夫讲述自己文学创作历程与移民经历的自传小说。小说借用爵士乐“开放、自由、自我表达”的文化属性以及即兴独奏的表演形式,将独立文本“打字机独奏”嵌入常规的叙事结构,以此对人类古老习俗“讲故事”实施跨界隐喻,构成文学之声与爵士乐之声的互文性多层级叙事。在小说中多甫拉托夫呼吁文学创作回归“手艺活”的朴素本底,通过有形的爵士乐“独奏”及浸润在文本中的爵士乐精神,充分诠释了作家自在自为、重视技法的文学“手艺”观。Craft is an autobiographical novel that encompasses contemporary Russian extraterritorial writer Sergei Dovlatov's journey of literary creation and his emigrant experience.By using the special meaning of jazz as a cultural symbol of freedom,openness,and self-expression,and by adopting the jazz performance form of improvised solos,the novella embeds the independent text"solo on the typewriter"into its conventional narrative structure,thus creating an intertextual and complementary multi-layered narrative that features a combination of literary voice with the sound of jazz.Dovlatov calls for the return of literary creation to the simplicity of"craft,"and his concept of literary"craft"connotes self-being and self-making,with emphasis on skills,creating an aural narrative through tangible jazz"solos"and the spirit of jazz in the text.
