数字经济对先富地区带动后富地区的影响——基于空间调节效应的实证检验

摘　　要：中国式现代化是全体人民共同富裕的现代化。选取2003—2020年285个城市面板数据,通过构建空间外溢的区域经济增长收敛模型,实证检验数字经济如何促进先富地区带动后富地区实现共同富裕。研究发现:先富地区经济增长能够显著带动后富地区经济增长,数字经济在其中发挥了正向空间调节效应。通过研究省际分界线这一准自然实验发现,省际层面的制度性分割抑制了数字经济影响先富地区经济增长的空间调节效应。空间异质性分析发现,东部地区、西部地区中数字经济对先富地区经济增长的空间调节效应显著为正,中部地区不显著。对此,各级部门需加紧数字基础设施建设,改变地方政府目标函数、动力结构和行为方式,开展跨区域合作,为先富带动后富创造有利条件。Chinese-style modernization is a modernization that brings common prosperity to all people.Based on panel data from 285 cities spanning from 2003 to 2020.This paper empirically tests how the digital economy facilitates regions that first achieved prospe-rity in leading those that are less prosperous towards common prosperity,through the construction of a spatial spillover regional economic growth convergence model.The findings reveal that economic growth in wealthier regions can significantly drive economic growth in less wealthy areas,with the digital economy playing a positive spatial regulatory effect in this process.Through studying the provincial bound-aries as a quasi-natural experiment,it was found that institutional divisions at the inter-provincial level inhibit the spatial regulatory eff-ect of the digital economy on economic growth in wealthier regions.Spatial heterogeneity analysis indicates that in the eastern and western regions,the spatial regulatory effect of the digital economy on the economic growth of wealthier regions is significantly positive,while it is not significant in the central region.In response,various governmental levels need to intensify the construction of digital infrastructure,alter the target functions,motivation structures,and behaviors of local governments,and carry out cross-regional cooperation,to create favorable conditions for wealthier regions to lead less wealthy ones towards common prosperity.
