《宋文鉴》“说书”与苏轼《南省说书十道》辨  

On the Distinction between“Shuo-shu”in Mirror of the Song Letters and Exposition of Ten Moral Tenets in the Southern Wing of the Imperial Secretariat by Su Shi

摘　　要：《宋文鉴》反映了北宋一朝的诗文概貌,其中设有“说书”类,收录了苏轼《南省说书十道》中的《问小雅周之衰》《问君子能补过》《问大夫无遂事》三篇文章,并将此与当时流行的经筵相联系。从文体学角度来看,说书是从唐到宋诞生的新文体,明代《文体明辨》《文章辨体汇选》也都专列“说书”文类,皆是收录苏轼的文章。事实上,苏轼的《南省说书十道》是经义,而非说书,后世研究对此存在一定的误解。本文在考察说书文体诞生背景和价值意义的基础上,进一步探讨《南省说书十道》的性质、内容、题目误解由来等问题,以期为其正名。Mirror of the Song Letters reflects the general picture of poetry and prose in the Northern Song Dynasty,including the category of“Shuo-shu”,which includes three articles in Su Shi’s Exposition of Ten Moral Tenets in the Southern Wing of the Imperial Secretariat,covering“Asking about the Decline of Xiaoya Zhou”,“Asking the Gentleman to Make Up for Mistakes”and“Asking the Doctor for Nothing”,and connects it with the then popular literary instruction for the monarch.From the perspective of stylistics,“Shuo-shu”is a new style born typical of the Tang-Song Dynasty.Both Exposition of Stylistic Features and A Collection of Discourse Styles published in the Ming Dynasty also contain entries on Shuo-shu,all of which are sourced in Su Shi’s writings.In fact,Su Shi’s Exposition of Ten Moral Tenets in the Southern Wing of the Imperial Secretariat means by“Shuo-shu”only classical literature and its explication,not“Shuo-shu”itself as was understood by later scholars.On the basis of investigating the birth background and value significance of the“Shuo-shu”style,this paper further discusses the nature,content,title,misunderstanding and other issues of Nan-sheng shuo-shu shih-tao,in order to correct the usages of the term.
