钛金属双极板表面耐蚀与疏水涂层性能

摘  要:为提高质子交换膜燃料电池钛双极板的耐蚀性能与疏水性能,采用溶胶-凝胶法在钛基体表面制备不同锡含量的掺锡氧化铟(ITO)涂层,通过扫描电子显微镜(SEM)、原子力显微镜(AFM)和X射线衍射仪(XRD)对涂层表面形貌和组织结构进行表征分析,用粘结法评价涂层与基体的结合情况,并利用水接触角测试仪和电化学测量仪测试涂层的疏水性以及在模拟电池环境下(0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4)+2 mg/L HF)的耐蚀性。结果表明:不同锡含量的ITO涂层对改善钛双极板的疏水性和耐蚀性具有不同程度的效果。ITO In^(3+)∶Sn^(4+)=1∶0.10涂层最为均匀、致密,与基体结合良好;其腐蚀电流密度为2.336μA/cm^(2),与基体相比下降了一个数量级;水接触角与电荷转移阻抗最大,水接触角由基体的43.98°升高至121.87°,表现为疏水性,且其电荷转移阻抗为55455Ω·cm^(2),约为基体电荷转移阻抗值的145倍,对钛金属双极板起到了最佳的耐蚀防护性。In order to improve the corrosion resistance and hydrophobicity of titanium bipolar plates for proton exchange membrane fuel cells,indium tin oxide(ITO)coatings with different tin content were prepared on titanium substrate by sol-gel method.The surface morphology and microstructure of the coatings were characterized by scanning electron microscopy(SEM),atomic force microscopy(AFM)and X-ray diffraction(XRD).The boonding between coating and substrate is evaluated by bonding method.The hydrophobicity and corrosion resistance of the coatings in simulated battery environment(0.5 mol/L H_(2)SO_(4)+2 mg/L HF)were tested by water contact angle tester and electrochemical measurement instrument.The results show that the ITO coatings with different tin contents have different effects on improving the hydrophobicity and corrosion resistance of titanium bipolar plates.ITO coating of In^(3+)∶Sn^(4+)=1∶0.10 is the most uniform and dense,and well bonded with the substrate.Its corrosion current density is 2.336μA/cm^(2),which is an order of magnitude lower than that of the substrate.Its water contact angle inereased from 43.98°on the substrate to 121.87°,showing hydrophobic,and its charge transfer resistence was 55455Ω·cm^(2),which was about 145 times tho change transfer resistence value of the substrate,and it provides the best corrosion proteetion for titanium metal bipolar plates.
