摘　　要：彭勇教授著《明代班军制度研究——以京操班军为中心》于2006年初版,2020年修订再版,是中国第一部系统研究班军制度的专著。该书详细梳理了明代班军制度建立、发展、组织管理、衰落以及班军制度下班军的实际生活,反思班军制度“垂而不死”现象背后的“因循”与“变革”,同时也关注明代的卫所制度、户籍、屯田、财政、法律、民族等诸多领域,为之后学者的研究提供新的议题,直接影响了现今卫所制度研究的方向。该书的突出特点在于扎实的史料论证、鲜明的观点创新与宏大的视野延展,为学术界多面了解明朝的兴衰提供理论、知识和方法上的支持,至今仍是历史学、军事学等研究领域的经典著作。Prof.Peng Yong's Study on the System of Service Turns in Ming Dynasty with Focus on Capital Services is the first systemic research on the system of service turns(Banjun)in China.It explains the establishment,development,organization,management,and decline of the system,and describes the lives of soldiers under it.The research probes into the inheritance and changes that rendered the decayed system persistent.It also involves the garrison(Weisuo)system,household registration,military settlement,fiscal policy,legal system,ethnic issues,etc.,providing topics and directions to follow-up studies on the garrison system.This work features solid historical evidence,distinct conceptual innovation and expanded vision,facilitating an all-round understanding on the rise and fall of the Ming Dynasty with theory,knowledge and methods.It remains classic in the research fields of history and military science.
