钱穆《论语》研究与日本中国学的关系——以蟹江义丸《孔子研究》的影响为例

摘　　要：青年钱穆虽未到过日本,但通过师友以及日文书籍接受了日本中国学的影响,尤以蟹江义丸的《孔子研究》一书为代表。《孔子研究》直接启发了钱穆《论语要略》的写作,钱氏在材料、结构及论点上对蟹江书多有模仿与取鉴,但同时在内容与方法上也有反思与取舍。不仅如此,《孔子研究》对钱穆告别五四思潮的激越,确立尊孔及立足中国历史文化研究的学术方向,也产生了影响与推进作用。这正体现了钱穆择取扬弃海外学术资源,最终自成一家的发展轨迹。Although Qian Mu had never been to Japan in his youth,he was greatly influenced by Japanese Sinology through his teachers,friends,and Japanese books,particularly Kanie Yoshimaru’s The Study of Confucius.This influence is clearly evident in Qian Mu’s writing The Study of the Confucian Analects.While Kanie’s book provided valuable materials,a structure,and arguments,Qian Mu made his own choices and reflections regarding related content and methods,but at the same time there are reflections on and trade-offs in terms of content and methodology.Furthermore,Qian Mu’s departure from the radicalization of the May 4th Movement and the establishment of his academic direction based on respecting Confucius and Chinese cultural research were greatly influenced and promoted by The Study of Confucius.This highlights Qian Mu’s discerning approach to selecting and discarding overseas academic resources,ultimately leading to the development of his own unique approach.
