汉学家米欧敏的译内行为与译外行为探究

摘　　要：本文基于译者行为批评理论,以米欧敏(Milburn)翻译的麦家小说《解密》《暗算》《风声》作为研究对象,从译内行为及译外行为两个维度对米欧敏的译者行为进行探究。从译外行为层面探究译者行为背后的深层文化动因和文化机制,从译内行为考察原意再现及风格再现。研究发现,汉学家米欧敏的译者身份和角色是其译者行为的影响因素,对译本的成功传播也起到重要作用。通过直译再现原文内容,表现出对中国文化求真的译者行为,有效地将文本内的语言进行跨文化传播,最终为麦家小说在民族性与普适性之间找到了契合点,有利于西方读者的接受。This article is based on the theory of translator behavior criticism,and takes Milburn’s translation of the Mai Jia’s novels“Decoded”,“In the Dark”,“The Message”as the research object.It explores Milburn’s translator behavior from two dimensions:intra and extra translation behavior,and the deep cultural motivations and mechanisms behind the translator’s behavior from the perspective of extra-translation behavior,and exams the reproduction of original meaning and style from the perspective of intra translation behavior.It has been found that the translator identity and role of Milburn are factors influencing their translator behavior,and also play an important role in the successful dissemination of the translated text.By reproducing the content of the original text through literal translation,it demonstrates a translator’s behavior of seeking truth from Chinese culture,effectively spreading the language within the text across cultures,and ultimately finding a connection between the national and universal aspects of the Mai Jia’s novels,which is beneficial for Western readers to accept.
