《月亮与六便士》中毛姆的女性观及其成因探析

摘　　要：毛姆的代表作《月亮与六便士》中的男主人公斯特里克兰德先后与艾米·斯特里克兰德太太、布兰琪和爱塔三位女性存在婚姻关系或情感纠葛,与追求信念的斯特里克兰德不同,这三位女性均缺乏独立的人格。拟以女性主义视角,分析三位女性的人生遭遇,剖析毛姆所处的时代背景及其人生经历,探析毛姆落后的女性观及其成因,从而帮助读者摆脱父权文化的影响。In The Moon and Sixpence,one of Maugham’s masterpieces,the hero Strickland has marriage or love entanglements with Amy Strickland,Blanche and Ata.Different from Strickland who pursues his faith,the three women lack independent personality.It analyzed the three women’s lives in this paper from the perspective of feminism as well as the historical background and personal experience of Maugham,and explored his backward view of women and its causes,thereby helping the readers get rid of the influence of patriarchal culture.
