摘 要:Richtmyer-Meshkov(RM)不稳定性及其诱导的湍流混合是惯性约束聚变、超声速燃烧、武器内爆等重大工程中的共性科学问题。已有研究主要关注RM不稳定性早期的扰动增长,揭示了斜压涡量和压力扰动是界面振幅增长的主要物理机制。近些年,随着流场诊断技术与高性能计算的发展,RM不稳定性后期的湍流混合逐渐得到关注。本文系统回顾了近10年来关于RM湍流混合的研究进展,诠释了一些关键概念,阐明了湍流混合的机制,并详细介绍了扰动效应、阿特伍德(Atwood)数效应、马赫数效应、黏性效应、反射波系效应、几何效应以及维度效应等初始条件对RM湍流混合场的影响。最后,本文展望了未来RM湍流混合的实验与数值模拟的重点方向。Richtmyer-Meshkov(RM)instability and the induced turbulent mixing are common scientific problems in significant engineering applications such as inertial confinement fusion,supersonic combustion,and weapon implosion.Previous studies were mainly focused on the growth of RM instability at the early stage.Baroclinic vorticity and pressure disturbance were found to be the dominant physical mechanisms driving the instability growth.Recently,increasing efforts and attempts have been made to explore the RM instability-induced turbulent mixing due to the development of experimental diagnostic and high-performance computing.In this manuscript,we systematically review the research progress on RM turbulence during the past decade.First,we describe the key physical quantities developed to characterize the RM turbulence,and then elucidate the main mechanisms of turbulent mixing.A detailed introduction is also provided on the influences of initial conditions(including Atwood number,Mach number,viscosity,reflected wave pattern,viscosity effect,reflected shock effect,geometric effect,and dimensionality)on the RM turbulent mixing.Finally,future directions for experiments and numerical simulations of RM turbulent mixing are outlined.
