摘　　要：以语言为标志的民族主义运动给巴基斯坦政府治理和国家稳定带来了前所未有的严峻挑战。信德语作为信德人的身份标志,其地位的下降成为信德人对自身境遇不满的导火索。在人民党政府的平衡策略下信德分离主义最终转向追求省级自治。信德语言运动从侧面反映出决定巴基斯坦民族分离主义力量强弱的本质是国家与民族间共享政治权力和经济利益的强度。Nationalist movements marked by language have brought unprecedented challenges to the governance of the Pakistani government and the stability of the country.As a symbol of Sindhi identity,the decline of Sindhi status has become the fuse for Sindhi people’s dissatisfaction with their own situation.Under the balancing strategy of the PPP government,Sindh separatism eventually shifted to the pursuit of provincial autonomy.The Sindh language Movement reflects that it’s the strength of the sharing of political power and economic interests with ethnic groups that determine the strength of Pakistan’s national separatism.
