阿加莎·克里斯蒂小说中的侦探形象分析——以侦探波洛为例

摘　　要：阿加莎·克里斯蒂是侦探小说女王,在其80多部侦探推理小说中,有50多部作品讲述波洛和马普尔两位侦探的故事。通过对侦探波洛的人物形象分析,发现他有几个特质:一是他是个来自异域他乡的侦探,爱好整齐、平易近人;二是他除了具有侦探的理性头脑外,更有理智中的柔情,他几乎以对人性的透彻了解而破案,与这一柔情的特质不无关系;三是一个柔情的人,又对于事实的“真”有着着魔一般的追求,这一矛盾的特质把他时时置于德与法的较量中。这些特质与作者高超的对人的心理把握、引人入胜的情节安排和深刻的人性思考是分不开的。Agatha Christie is the queen of detective novels,with more than 50 of her over 80 detective novels telling the stories of Poirot and Marple.With the analysis of the character image of detective Poirot,his several characteristics are found.Firstly,he is a detective from a foreign land,neat and approachable.Secondly,in addition to the rationality of a detective,he possesses tenderness as well.He solves most cases with a thorough understanding of human nature,which is closely related to the trait of tenderness.Thirdly,he is gentle and possessed by the pursuit of“truth of facts”,a contradiction that always puts him in a dilemma of virtue and law.The characteristics above are inseparable from the author’s superb grasp of human psychology,captivating plot arrangement,and profound thought on human nature.
