摘　　要：叶芝抒情诗歌中存在大量的动物书写,既包含写实的动物书写,也包含想象的动物书写以及动物作为符码和媒介在诗人进行文化建构中的作用。叶芝笔下的动物书写可呈现宗教神话动物、大房子动物和变形的动物三个层次,对反映、投射和形塑爱尔兰性具有强大的指涉作用、隐喻效应和话语功能。打通叶芝抒情诗歌中的动物书写与爱尔兰性的密切联系可以有效挖掘出动物书写与神秘主义哲学、爱尔兰历史文化传统和文学艺术的内在联系,深刻揭示出特殊历史时期充满异质张力的爱尔兰性的特质。Animals are abundant in Yeats's lyrics,including the real and imaginative animals,concerning the role of animals as a code and medium in cultural construction.The animals in Yeats's lyrics can be presented on three levels:religious and mythological animals,animals of Big House,and transformed animals.They have a role of reference,a metaphorical effect and a discursive function in reflecting and even shaping Irishness.This essay intends to look at animals and Irishness at the same time,explore the inner connection of Yeats's animals with mystical philosophy,the Irish historical and cultural tradition and Irish literature and art,and reveal the characteristics of Irishness with heterogeneous tensions in a special period.
