A new species of Bolbochromus Boucomont,1909(Coleoptera:Geotrupidae:Bolboceratinae)from Guangdong,China

摘　　要：The genus Bolbochromus Boucomont,1909 includes 3 subgenera(Bolbochromops Krikken&Li,2013;Metabolbochromus Krikken&Li,2013 and Bolbochromus Boucomont,1909)and 27 species(Krikken&Li,2013;Li et al.,2019;Selking,2019).Its geographic distribution is known ranging eastward from India and Sri Lanka in the Himalayas to Southeast Asia,Southern China,the Greater Sunda Islands,the Philippines,and its neighboring islands(Li et al.,2013).The genus is distinguished from other beetles of Bolboceratinae by:imagoes body usually bicolored with brownish yellow or reddish-brown markings;body length 5.8–13.0mm(Li et al.,2019);ocular canthi completely bisecting the eyes;arcuate anterior clypeal margin;pronotum lack tubercles(Krikken&Li,2013);distal antennomere lacking grooves,and inner surface of first antennomere with a polished,glabrous disc(Selking,2019).The members of Bolbochromus can be occasionally attracted to light(Krikken&Li,2013),the feature can be used to set up flight interception traps to obtain specimens.
