摘　　要：日本战后派作家野间宏以军营特殊空间为主题创作了描述军营生活的小说《真空地带》,描写了日本士兵在军营空间中的权力、欲望、野心、献媚和争斗的丑态,揭露了军营空间内天皇制权力结构将日本人转化为“日本兵”的黑暗过程。士兵在军营空间与监狱空间内被操控、被驯服为功利主义的战争机器;其中的知识分子士兵认识到与外界隔绝、形如真空的军营空间中的欺骗性和人工性,对军营空间背后天皇制军队的侵略性质深感质疑。作品表达了对作为日本人应如何面对日本皇权这一问题的理性思考。Zone of Emptiness,created by Japanese postwar writer Noma Hiroshi,is a novel set in special spaces,about life in military barracks.It is described in the novel how power,desire,ambition,flattery and ugliness functioned and interacted in the Japanese military,with an exposition of the dark process in which the imperial power structure transformed the Japanese civilians into“Japanese soldiers”.Soldiers were manipulated and tamed into utilitarian war machines in the spaces of barracks and prisons;and the intellectuals recognized the deception and artificiality in the military camp space,which was isolated from the outside world,and seriously questioned the aggressive nature of the imperial army permeated in the military camp space.The writing shows rational thinking about how to face the Japanese imperial power under the special identity of being“Japanese”.
