Objective To investigate the effect of clinical pulmonary infection score(CPIS)in nursing care of stroke patients. Methods 94 cas-es of stroke patients admitted to Changzhou Second People's Hospital from January to June in 2021 were selected as the study subjects, and they were divided into the observation group and the control group by random envelope method, with 47 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, the observation group received individualized nursing according to CPIS score, the antibiotics use time, average hospitalization time, positive rate of sputum culture and pulmonary infection were compared between the two groups. Results The antibiotic use time, average hospitaliza-tion time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the positive rate of sputum culture and incidence of pulmonary infec tion in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion Indi-vidualized nursing intervention based on CPIS score for stroke patients can shorten the hospitalization time, reduce the use of antibiotics, and effec-tively prevent pulmonary infection.
